Department Overview
Search Department is part of the AI Engineering Supervisory Department under Technology Services Division in Rakuten. Search Department focuses on Search, Discovery, and Navigation experience for users of Rakuten. We in Findability Department help demand meet supply through our services that are engineered for scale, performance, and ease of use. We support 20 plus Rakuten Businesses across three different continents, 50 plus user functions and over a billion active users annually generating over two Billion dollars in revenue directly from us. Search Application Engineering Group is responsible for delivering some of the Mission critical Rakuten Applications used by millions of users.

We are looking for a highly motivated development engineer with strong test automation experience, with commitment to customer satisfaction, and a strong desire to create highest-quality Search platform for Rakuten Services.
　
Position Details
Responsibilities(includes but are not limited to): 
- Design new and improve existing test plans & test scenarios. 
- Conduct Project acceptance testing, Regression testing, and UI testing. 
- Effectively report defects for test failures, 
- Automate new & existing test scenarios and constantly increase the amount of test cases covered by automation.   
- Manually execute test scenarios, which not yet automated. 
- Continuously improve QA processes and methodologies 
- Work collaboratively with peers to ensure project delivery on time with good quality.  

求める経験・スキル

Mandatory Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field 
- 3+ years experience in Software Test Automation 
- Experience in designing test plans and test scenarios. 
- Experience in UI testing - both manual & automated. 
- Knowledge and experience with programming languages (preferably Typescript) 
- Proficient with Git, Unix/Linux commands 
- Experience in test automation frameworks like Cucumber, Jest, Cypress  
　
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in designing quality processes and performing quality management. 
- Experience with Selenium 
- Experience with automated visual regression testing. 
- Experience with Jenkins
