Business Overview
Are you interested in joining hands with one of the biggest global companies in Japan to build and implement Data Management and Data Governance systems for FinTech System Strategy Department?
We are the biggest FinTech ecosystem currently in Japan. Our services range from e-banking, securities, insurance, credit card, and digital payments.

Department Overview
The FinTech System Strategy Department envisions core integration among all FinTech services in Rakuten. We are developing strategies for future business roadways and effectively managing the current business streams to drive them towards a more synergized power in the FinTech market. The various key programs are business continuity planning, infrastructure and architecture planning, synergized and integrated application and service development, security promotion, anti-money laundering policies, data governance and data sciences.
We are looking for a GRC Specialist to work with the FinTech Data Strategy Group and be a part of Data Governance and Management initiatives. Collaborate with senior managers, data handlers and other related business units to shape the multi-year, iterative program plan to ensure Data Governance goals. Select from available delivery methodologies as appropriate to meet the program goals and manage execution risks. Being part of a strategy team also means a lot of tech level collaboration with the Development Department in our division.

Your expertise will be critical in safeguarding our operations and driving sustainable growth.

Position Details
- Develop long-term running plans and conduct on the Fintech Data Governance programs like Data risk management, Data Quality management
- Interact with development partners for any development needs for Data Governance automation, while closely monitoring and managing
- Investigate, support, and resolve issues with FinTech Data Governance processes
- Recommend FinTech Data Governance enhancements or advisory to Rakuten FinTech group companies
- Additional tasks related to FinTech Data Governance enhancement including providing trainings

求める経験・スキル

Mandatory Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years working experience in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
- 1 to 3 years leadership, coordination, and project management experience, with demonstrated progression and performance
- Working knowledge in data governance and management, strategy, architecture, development, or operations
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment; address conflicts appropriately, and build productive partnerships with stakeholders, peers, and senior managers to achieve targeted goals

Desired Qualifications:
- PMP certified professional
- Some knowledge in Data Governance concepts like Metadata Management, Data Quality and Lineage Management, Master Data Management
- Holding a security professional certification like CISSP or CISA or CDMP
- Knowledge about security standards and frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001, NIST CSF, PCI-DSS
