Department Overview
Rakuten Payment, Inc. Frontend System Development Department oversees development for all Rakuten Payment services. Our vision is to build and shape payment technologies that support our users’ daily lives now and into the future. 

Frontend System Development Department handles development for Rakuten Pay mobile application, gateway to all Rakuten Payment services and Rakuten’s Fintech ecosystem. The department developers cover wide range of user services from service sites, campaigns and advertisement to critical mobile app functions, utilizing hybrid mobile app approach.

As part of our team, you’ll get to see behind the scenes of the technology that enables modern, online life. Together, with your help, we aim to turn vision into a reality and deliver the next generation of payment technology.

Position Details
Position Responsibilities
- Create test strategies, plans, and cases for validating mobile app functionalities on iOS and Android
- Create and maintain automation framework using proven tools for testing mobile applications
- Run app tests on a large number of devices including cloud devices

求める経験・スキル

Mandatory Qualifications:
- Experience in test planning, strategizing, and creating test cases for mobile apps, libraries, and/or web applications
- 3-5 years or equivalent experience in QA
- Hands-on experience in automating tests on mobile apps and/or web apps
- Familiarity with the integration and interaction of APIs with frontend components
- Experience in working with source code tools like GIT
- Good understanding of QA best practices and methodologies

Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in using TypeScript and Node.js for test framework development
- Understanding of mobile SDKs and how they are implemented on different mobile platforms
- Hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar
- Experience with API testing frameworks beyond basic REST (e.g., Postman, SoapUI, or code-based frameworks)
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes for testing environments
