Why We’re Hiring
We are seeking a senior engineer who can take technical ownership of our Ad Platform business, overseeing both SSP and DSP domains, propose and drive platform updates, and strategically develop the ad platform business from a technical perspective. This is an important role to lead discussions on technical design and architecture, solve complex technical problems, raise the team's technical level, and support business growth by capturing industry trends and data to outcompete rivals.

Responsibilities / Job Description
Technical leadership in a high-traffic environment
Lead performance optimization and incident response using deep knowledge of Linux and CPU for a domestic-scale platform that processes 3 billion impressions per day within 100 ms.
Lead modernization and adaptation to industry changes
Keep the team competitive by quickly catching up with fast-changing ad-tech industry trends. Beyond feature development, rapidly capture market opportunities and drive quick cycles of verification, implementation, and release.
Improve product quality and continuous improvement
Proactively discover and fix both known and latent issues in a large-scale product, taking ownership of improvements.
Build validation/test environments and quality assurance
To minimize production incidents, help build and maintain verification/test environments that match production in scale and complexity, in parallel with feature development.
Migrate long-lived products incrementally to modern technologies
Help establish frameworks and processes to gradually migrate legacy, long-running products to modern technologies while maintaining stability.

求める経験・スキル

Required Qualifications
3+ years of large-scale development experience with JavaScript/TypeScript
5+ years of web system development experience
Experience designing system architectures
Experience owning and solving technical challenges with initiative
Business-level communication skills in either English or Japanese (one is required)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience collaborating with data scientists
Development and operation experience with high-traffic systems
Management or mentoring experience
Development experience in the ad-tech industry
Experience operating systems with high availability and low latency considerations
Experience maintaining large open-source software projects
Experience writing technical blogs or speaking at conferences
